Hi,
I just purchased Antares Autotune VST plugin, and I am having trouble getting Audacity to load it up. I followed the instructions to install the VST bridge by placing the vst-bridge.dll in audacity's plugins folder, and then I also placed the Autotune plugins in audacity's plugins folder. However, when I load up Audacity, the Generate, Effects, and Analyze menus have not changed. Does anyone know if Autotune is even compatible with Audacity? I read some stuff about many VST plugins causing issues with Audacity.
I am using Audacity 1.2.6.
Antares Autotune VST compatability?
Forum rules
Audacity 1.2.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.
The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

Re: Antares Autotune VST compatability?
I don't think it is compatible.
There is some information about VST compatible plug-ins here: http://audacityteam.org/wiki/index.php? ... T_Plug-ins

doh, guess I'll have to return it
Re: Antares Autotune VST compatability?
Why not use it with a program that does support it (you could try "Krystal Audio Engine" which is free, or "Reaper" which is not free, but inexpensive). There's nothing to stop you from using more than one audio program on your computer is there?SubMatrix wrote:doh, guess I'll have to return it
