Hi guys, I've downloaded the zipped version of Audacity, and I've a problem exporting a WAV file.
When I try to do that, Audacity adds 10 seconds of silence at the end of the clip, so it's always longer than the original.
Is there some setting I'm missing?

Audacity 1.2.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.
The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

Re: Exporting WAV problem!!
Before you export, zoom out and check the length of all tracks - if you have anything, even silence, after the end of your recording, then it will be included in the Exported audio.
Alternatively, select the exact area of the track(s) that you want to Export, and use "Export Selection".

Re: Exporting WAV problem!!
Or have you created a label tack with a label 10 seconds beyound the end of the recording? If so delete the label.
