AVS Audio Editor

I thought I was downloading Audacity but what I got is AVS Audio Editor. Paid $39 for a license but this does not include the Audacity program. Help!

The link from the Audacity website eventually goes to

This page has
adverts, which are currently for "AVS audio editor", which is a commercial product and not associated with Audacity.
In my opinion, these adverts are a bit misleading - this is not the first time that someone has downloaded an advertised product by mistake (instead of Audacity).
The direct link is
http://ovh.dl.sourceforge.net/sourcefor ... -1.2.6.exe but there is no guarantee that this link will not change - that depends on the SourceForge website maintainers.
I understand that SourceForge need to advertise for the financial revenue (bandwidth and server costs for SourceForge must be huge), but I feel that they have taken it a bit too far.
