Upon completion of recording my computer crashed before I had a chance to save the file. Now when I open Audacity I reeive a warning that says : "Audacity found temporary files that were not deleted or saved the last time you used Audacity. Audacity can't recover them automatically, but if you choose not to delete them, you can recover them manually"
I have what I believe to be the temporary file but I don't knopw how to recover them manually. I tried to "save as" and export as Wave and MP3 but no dice.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

Re: computer crashed before recording saved
Unfortunately, crash recovery was not very good in the old 1.2.x version (much improved in the latest beta versions).
You may find some information to help here: http://audacityteam.org/wiki/index.php? ... shRecovery
Your chances of recovering the project are probably not very good, but it may be worth a try.
Make sure that you have lots of free disk space (unfragmented) on your C: drive (running short of available space is one of the best ways to crash Audacity).
