I'm trying to open the clip i recorded on to powerpoint, but it wont let me. It works at the school computers.
I exported it as a mp3 file, but when i go on to powerpoint to open it, the file is not there.
Please help!

I think your participle is dangling. Throw your father down the stairs his hat.
We assume you mean you created an MP3 file in Audacity, not PowerPoint. If you close everything and reopen Audacity, can you open that freshly made file?
Close everything. With your mouse, drill down to where you put the sound file and double click on it. Does something volunteer to open it and does it succeed--does it play? I think Windows Media will usually insist on playing it.
