Audacity Forum

I have done this before, but I forget how to do it. I was watching a video and I wanted to record a quick clip from it. Well I did, and the quality was bad. Then I tried again, and somehow I was able to make audacity record what my computer was playing, not what the speakers were doing. The audio was really good Could anyone help me?

I read that, but it didn't work. I did get it to work though. I had to disable my built in mic(on my laptop) and then I enabled my sound card from the control panel sound options and it works now.
