Windows Export to AIFF Format

Is it possible for Windows Audacity to export to AIFF? I've been exporting to WAV, but now I need AIFF format for a project. The documentation mentions this, but since this is an Apple format, I'm wondering if it's only in the Mac version. Can someone fill me in? Thanks

Yes it can.
In Audacity 1.3.x it is very simple to change the Export format - you just select the options that you want in the Export dialogue.

I see, once you change it in the preferences, it shows up in the File menu.

What kind of project needs AIFF? Apple perfectly supports WAV in most if not all of its programs.
