Problem with 2 tracks in a recording making unwanted noise.

Post by outerheaven2005 » Wed Nov 19, 2008 12:58 pm

Hello, I have a problem and I can't find any information about it.. Okay, so I recorded 2 tracks, when you listen to them separately, the sound is crisp and clean. But when you play them together, it makes some weird buzzing noise.. It seems to happen when I mix a clean guitar track with a distortion track..
I have included a sample: http://www.sendspace.com/file/32j8st
It is only 135kb, so don't worry about it being a huge mp3 file :D
Keep in mind that when I play each track separately, they each sound clean with no problems.
Thanks, I appreciate it!

Use the volume sliders on the left side of each of the tracks to lower the volume of each track. When you play two or more tracks at the same time, the sounds are added together, and can cause the resulting "mix" to be too loud and distort.
