I installed everything and followed the installation steps correct. I can record but I only hear sound from the LP (very sillently) but I don't have sound on my computer, I only see it recording. Nor do I have the "Microphone" & "Stereo Mix", it stays blank - can't click the arrow -. Can anyone please help me?

On the basis of the sparse information that you have provided us - I infer that you are probably using a USB turntable, right?

If so, then I would expect there to be nothing in the input selector drop-down. When you connect a USB device like this then Audacity realizes that there is only a single valid pathway, i.e. your USB device and it's soundcard and therefore offers no options in the drop-down.

As for the sound - similarly when you plug such a USB device in, then Audacity hands over the entire services (input and output) to the USB device. Noe since most USB TTs don't have speakers attached, or manage sound output servces, then you get no sound. All you need to do is to retarget your PC's sound output to its onboard soundcard both in Windaows and in Audacity. In Windows use the Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices > Audio > Sound Playback - and in Audacity use Edit > Preferences >Audio I/O > Playback Device.
