Audacity 1.2.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.

The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

No amplitude to wave form

Post by Frankie » Sun Nov 16, 2008 2:48 pm

When i record the tracks are more or less straight lines, only a small amount of amplitude. This makes it hopeless for editing. It was ok before I changed to the Beta version.I use Vista. Please help.

You can install both versions of Audacity on the same computer as long as you don't try to run them both at once.

That should get you going until we figure out what's wrong.
