Audacity 1.2.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.

The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

how to set monitor on fulltime

Post by phatcat57 » Fri Nov 14, 2008 5:46 pm

Using beta version with XP, VIA EPIA MII 10000 in carputer setting. Upon boot up I have Audacity opening on start up and would like monitoring on automatically - is it possible?

You mean like when you click once inside the red record meters and they wake up and start metering the input? Not that I know of.

Yes, that one click inside the red meter is the step I would like to eliminate.

There is another wish list item for that tool. Say you walked up behind me at the exact instant my phone rang and I had to leave. Am I in monitor mode? How would you know?

This is a powerful problem when you're using Audacity to troubleshoot an audio system. Is the system broken, or is Audacity in Edit mode instead of Monitor?
