I want to record a show with a friend but he is to far from me so we decided to do the show using MSN call thingy.
I am the one with Audacity and i record what we are saying. Only problem is when i do stereo mix , he hears himself back over and over again. I want to record my voice and his voice without that problem
Could Someone help me?

Are you wearing headphones, so your microphone does not pick up his voice that you are hearing, and send it back to him?
Have you tried a dedicated Instant Messaging/VoIP recorder like Voice Emotion ?

I think that will be the way to go. Everyone seems to have trouble recording from VOIP, even when recording "Stereo Mix" works in all other respects. It seems that VOIP applications do things to the sound system that just mess up all attempts to record. Fortunately there are dedicated programs available for many of the most popular VOIP applications that provide the facility to save the conversation.Gale Andrews wrote:Have you tried a dedicated Instant Messaging/VoIP recorder like Voice Emotion ?
