batch process to combine 2 mp3's together

Hopefully the community here can help,
I have a project that calls for me to generate several hundred unique audio tags and then combine them with an introduction. all in mp3 format!
My question: will audacity do this? can I setup a batch that will take each tag and combine it with the intro and render out to a separate file?
I have some audio editing experience, but I am a mostly a video editor. If this is not the right tool, can you recommend one? I do have "some" budget.

Thanks!

I got small pieces. I think Version 1.3.x has a "link" tool that will do batch. There is no batch process in 1.2.x.

No, I think "Link" is the batch operation. I have no idea which tools can be included in the batch.
