Hi, computer got turned off before file was "saved." When I restart Audacity it says I can delete or manually recover audacity files. I went thru preferences to find where the default folder is. I've read the directions on how to manually recover files that didn't get saved. My computer is using Win2K. There is no audacity folder in the system temp folder, or at least Win2K won't let me see one. There are no files like - "b001.au 15:56:02" or anything that my windows Search command will find. Any help, or should I just consider the files gone?
Thanx

Re: Recovery
You know you can force Win2K to show you everything, right?

Appreciate the directions for how to turn everything on, I had forgotten how.
