I've just started using an Ion turntable that came with Audacity. I'm transferring vinyl and thought I could record side 1, hit puase, then flip the record and unpause to ge the rest of the album. Problem is, after hitting pause, I can't get the recording to restart. The pause button toggles but nothing's coming through. I ended up saving side 1 and am now recording side 2 as a separate file. Doesn't seem the best way to do things. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
Michael

Re: Pause and Restart
The "P" key should work for "pause"/"un-pause", however USB turntables have a reputation for being "delicate", so if you have problems with pausing you may need to stick with your workaround.
