I've been looking all over the board and though I see similar questions I haven't found one with an answer. Sorry if it is buried somewhere and I missed it.
I have downloaded the lame mp3. dll. When I go to import my audio into an mp3 and then try to play it on windows media player or back in audacity, I get the chipmunk effect. This does not happen to wav files. Is there anyway I can correct this so that it plays normal as an mp3. My settings are the default settings.
Default Sample Rate: 44100 HZ
Default Sample Format: 32-bit Float
MP3 Library Version Lame v3.98
Bit Rate: 128
I am using audacity 1.2.6
Please let me know if there is any other information you need.
