Hi,
I am using Audacity to record both sides of a Yahoo voice chat. I'm use Windows XP. On playback, my voice is fine - loud and clear. However, the other person's voice (the other chat voice) is very faint. Audacity is recording both voices, but only mine has full sound. The sound meter is almost flat when the other speaker is on, so obviously their voice is not being picked up properly. I am using a standard mic as is the other person (nothing fancy, typical fairly inexpensive headphone mic that most people use for Yahoo chat). I can hear their voice loud and clear through my headphone so there's no problem there. It's just that it's not being picked up loudly by Audacity as it comes through my system. Any settings I can fix or tweak to correct this? So far, Audacity is the only thing I've found that even came close to recording Yahoo chat. Thanks so much for any help you can give!
