Export MP3 - Makes File Larger?

Export MP3 - Makes File Larger?

Hello everyone,

I am importing radio interviews (MP3's) and then taking out the commercials. When I export the file to MP3 it ends up being larger than the original file, even though I have made the program shorter.

Can someone explain why this is happening? Any way to prevent it?

Perhaps you are outputting at a higher bitrate than the original recording. Check your preferences.
