I thought i had it figured out, i recorded from a tape deck ,no problem,i taped ist side than as directed hit stop button turned tape over and recorded the 2nd side ,i exported it as a WAV ,converted it to a mp3, sent it to windows media player,
and ,when i play it it plays 2 tracks at once,I think i should have hit pause instead of stop .

Thanks Sal Avitabile

never mind thanks anyway i found out you have to hit pause not stop if you want both sides a tape to record!on one track.

Or you can use the CTRL+P keyboard shortcut to pause and restart recording.

And if you do get two tracks like that, you can always move the second track tto start after the first track by using the Timeshift tool.
