Does anyone know of a script or utility to automatically set the Title attribute of an mp3 file to the filename?
Thanks,
KR

Re: Scrpt to copy filename to Title attribute
should happen automatically when you use Export Multiple as MP3 - it takes the filename and the track title from the Audacity track label

Re: Scrpt to copy filename to Title attribute
Thank you for your prompt reply.
I use Audacity when I convert my cassettes to MP3. It works great.
This weekend I used Exact Audio Copy to rip from some CDs then convert to MP3. It works well, but unfortunately does not update the Title attribute. (I used EAC because it claims error free rips).
I was hoping someone here would know of a simple way to copy filename to Title attribute.
Thanks again,
KR

Found: Utility to copy filename to Title attribute
FYI.
Here is a neat little utility to copy the filename to the Title attribute, and much more besides:
http://www.id3-tagit.de/
Normally we don't need such a utility with Audacity, but it may come in handy.
