Converting WAV to MP3 on a Zoom H2

I've just recorded an 18 minute voice over on my zoom H2 and have set it to add an MP3 alternative. It's been converting for over 1/2hr with no sign of completing. Does anyone know how long it should take???

Only just found this question. I guess that it's finished by now (3 days later). How long did it take, or did it not work?

Hi Steve
It did eventually finish and took around 75 minutes to complete. The worrying aspect was that the macine was locked while processing and would not cancel or switch off. I disconnected the external power but it continued on the internal batteries. Next time I'll convert it in Audacity.
