Hello all!
New to Audacity, so bear with me, as I have searched high and low, but maybe in the wrong spots, for my answer. I am trying to record a conversation from two people: myself (in MN) and my friend (in IN). I can hear him and he can hear me, and when I try to record, only my words both record and playback. When he talks, nothing shows up on the equalizer, which makes me think that it's not being streamed into Audacity. Any suggestions? I am running Vista and Audacity 1.2.6 currently. Thanks in advance!

I'm unsure what you mean by "in MN" and "in IN".danielgaz wrote:I am trying to record a conversation from two people: myself (in MN) and my friend (in IN).

haha, he probably means Minnesota and Indiana, right? They're in two different geographical areas. I just started a thread with a similar problem ....I can't get the sound on the other person in Yahoo chat (it's there, but very faint). so, I'm having basically the same problem...stevethefiddle wrote:I'm unsure what you mean by "in MN" and "in IN".danielgaz wrote:I am trying to record a conversation from two people: myself (in MN) and my friend (in IN).
