How do I make a track play while I record?

How do I make a track play while I record?

I'm new to Audacity and I cant seem to have a track continue to play while I record over it. Once I've recorded I can listen to both tracks ontop of each other, but I cant have the first track actualy play while I record the second track over it. Is there anyway I can do this?

In Audacity click "Edit > Preferences" then select the "Audio I/O" tab.
Select "play other tracks while recording new one"
