I just got a new laptop with Windows Vista, with my old one i had XP and i never had any problems with Audacity. I record alot off videos and radio from the internet, so everything i record comes through my speakers, so my problem is this;
when i go to edit>prefrences>recording devices i only get two options in the drop box: Microsoft Sound Mapper - Input, and Microphone (Realtek High Definition) both of which only record what my microphone picks up, and this is no good to me, i have tried searching this site looking for my answer and have found similar problems but still no luck. With XP i never had this problem and i know it is something to do with my sound drivers and how they are different on Vista, so any help would be fantastic !!!! if anything doesnt make sense i will be happy to answer any questions !!!
