How do I make Audacity record EXACTLY what I hear?

I've recently downloaded and experimented a little bit with Audacity, but this one thing troubles me so much and it's that it doesn't record EXACTLY what I hear.
The problem is that the lyrics sounds OK but when it gets to the louder beats and bass it kinda distorts and buzzes out.
I have set my Audio I/O to Playback: "Device Realtek AC97 Audio" Recording: "Device Realtek AC97 Audio"
Channels (2) Stereo.
Here is a 30 second example: http://rapidshare.com/files/145935840/M ... _.mp3.html
(Recorded directly from the legitimate song, but as you will be able to tell the beat is kinda distorted.)
Any help will be appreciated, thanks for reading.
