Question Marks

I too have question marks instead of words on my tool bar and drop down menus consist of ??? also just like poppy1

What language is selected in Audacity Preferences (Edit > Preferences > Interface)

You can't open anything on the drop down menu's therefore you cannot go through preferences as once you click on the ???? it shuts down :(

If you are not confident about editing the Windows Registry, you may decide to take the easier option and install Audacity 1.3.5 (1.3.x uses a file instead of the registry for storing the preferences)
