I am using Vista Ultimate with the ion iTTUSB10 Turntable. When I record from 45s, the sound is "incomplete" - the voices on the tracks sound fine, but instrumental or vocal backing in the same track is muted or missing. What is going on here???

Do 33 1/3 LPs play fine? Do your 45s play ok if you plug the RCA leads from the ION into a Hi-Fi amp or boombox?

I have recorded 45s in the past on an ION iTTUSB and it worked fine.
