Well I'm converting an mp3 file that is like 6mb to a wav file. It goes fine but the output wav file is like 60mb. It's doing this for multiple mp3s that are average size. But end output is around 60mb. Any help? I downloaded another program to try and see if it helped but it didnt. Could it be the file?

Ten to one data compressed MP3 music files convert to WAV files that are ten times larger. WAV files are not compressed.

You can make WAV files smaller by doing silly things like converting to mono (half file size) and creating WAV files with poor quality; 22050, 8-bit instead of CD standard 44100, 16-bit or video standard 48000, 16-bit.

That's the whole point of the MP3 format - it "compresses" the data (makes the file much smaller), at the expense of a small loss in audio quality.
An hour of uncompressed stereo audio at CD quality almost fills a CD - that's around 600 MB.
