olympus vn-4100-pc digital voice recorder can't import files

i have an olympus vn-4100-pc digital voice recorder and transfered audio files from my recorder to my win 7 computer using olympus digital wave player.
i am unable to take these recordings and use them in audacity and need step by step insruction to do so if anyone can help please do.

Did someone reply to this and the reply was deleted? I did not notice this as "unanswered" before.

As you are on Windows 7, please download the latest 1.3.13 Beta:
http://audacity.googlecode.com/files/au ... 1.3.13.exe .

Then install FFmpeg:
http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/FAQ: ... -Ins#winff .

Then if the built-in WAV importer cannot handle the WAV file, FFmpeg should be able to.
