hey everyone,
first, here is my setup:
Laptop: toshiba satellite P200 RT7 (Part number: PSPB6C RT708C)
OS: Windows Vista Home Premium
Recording input: HD Line-in on laptop
Audio output: USB - Serato SCRATCH Live connected to two turntables and a mixer
so, everything was working totally fine until i tried recording this morning...right away i could see that the wave form on the visual spectrum wasn't centered at 0.0, but shifted up to like 0.3-0.4) - see picture...also, the recorded audio was terribly distorted. the only thing that i can think of that may have changed between when it was working fine and now is that i updated the drivers...i tried doing a driver rollback to get the former driver, but it option was "greyed out". uggghhhhh, HELP!
if anyone has any ideas i am ALL ears...i tried reinstalling audacity, did nothing. i tried changing some of the settings in the control panel - sound...still no luck.
HELP!
thanks in advance!!!
