Hi,
I've been struggling for a few hours with these annoying sound pops from a BBC stream recording. I've tried every effect and trick I could think of but the result hasn't become 100% (or 99%) satisfying. It seems as if the sound pop doesn't really go along with the sound but is rather replacing it; I've had the best by results by just removing it and then either replace it with nothing, silence or a small repeat of the sound just before the pop. Still, it is quite noticeable.
I've added a short clip, so if anyone can give me some advice.. much appreciated!

I presume you mean the weird "blip" just after 6.3 seconds?
It sounds like that was a glitch in the BBC stream. There's no automatic way that I know of to get rid of that, but if you cut out the bad bit, then make a short cross-fade between the parts either side then you can get a pretty good repair.

Yes indeed, 'blip' is the better word for it.
Your advice was really useful! I've tried it and although still audible it'll probably go unnoticed for the unconscious-minded (which is the point). I'll stick with this solution for all the blips to come
