Recording Lag
When I go to record something, there is about a 1second lag/delay between when I play something to when I hear it on the program. Is there a way to calibrate the playback delay or a way to fix this problem?

What sort of microphone are you recording with?
Which version of Windows?

I'm using a usb cable to connect from my computer the my piano. I have Audacity 1.2 and I don't know which version of windows but it's lower than Windows 7.

If you reboot your computer there should be a screen come up that says which version of Windows you are using.
