i have a set of .mp4 files.they happen to be movie trailers that i put into a real player play list to play unattended. as these are obtained from various sources the volume levels can vary, i wish to use audacity to set the volume levels of all of the .mp4 files to a similar level or range.
i seem not to be able to even import .mp4 files to begin any editing. do i have the wrong tool? am i on the wrong track?
thanks in advance for any help.

Re: setting volume on .mp4 files
Audacity 1.3.13 may be able to import these files if you install FFMpeg, but Audacity is an audio program and will only import the audio stream from the files (assuming that it can import them at all).
