The unlisted lame_enc.dll file for Audicity I need help?

When I export to a .mp3 file for Audicity, it asks for "Where is lame_enc.dll file?"
I click on browse and go to C:Program FilesLame For Audicity, and the lame_enc.dll file does not show up.
I clicked on Start and Find to find the file to look for the lame_enc.dll file and it says it's at C:Program FilesLame For Audicity.
The lame_enc.dll file is there on C:Program FilesLame For Audicity.
When Audicity asks for "Where is lame_enc.dll file?", I go to C:Program FilesLame For Audicity, but it's unlisted and I cannot access the file, when the file is really there.
The browser for Audicity will not show me any of the .dll files, that is on my Hard Disk Drive? I can only find the .dll files through DOS or the Find/Search files program.
I don't even have the lame_enc.dll file hidden or locked.
Why is this file unlisted?
Can you please help me?

I recommend that you use the latest beta version of Audacity (currently 1.3.13) which you can get here: http://audacityteam.org/download/
And download the ZIP version of Lame from here: http://lame.buanzo.com.ar/

Uninstall any previously installed versions of Lame for Windows, then
Extract the lame_enc.dll file and put it into the Audacity program folder. (usually C:Program FilesAudacity 1.3 Beta (Unicode) )
Restart Audacity and Lame should be detected automatically. Go to "Edit menu > Preferences > Libraries" to check that it has been detected.
