Preferences in 1.2.6

In 1.2.6 is it possible to keep preferences from session to session. For example, if I move a particular toolbar to a new position on the desktop, will it remain in position for the next session I open?

Sorry I don't remember. (Audacity 1.2. is really old).
Audacity 1.3.13 will save the layout that you create.

As far as I recall in 1.2.x Audacity does not remeber any moved toolbar positioning. 1.3 certainly does.
