Someone please help me ASAP i download Audacity on my windows vista im in the middle of a 50% assignment for my university of end of the semester i did used to noise reduction effect...and now EVERYTHING that im opening all my mp3's .wavs videos even my youtube videos and anything i search on youtube now sounds sped up
i can't edit my assignment in these conditions...SOMEONE HELP PLLEASEE....

Audacity 1.2 cannot open YouTube videos. It only supports a small number of file types. You need Audacity 1.3.13 and you also need to install FFmpeg.

Audacity, particularly the early ones would play unknown files as if they didn't have compression. A two to one compressed audio show will play double speed.
You can sometimes get around that by local capture such as recording the computer's audio instead of trying to download the file.
