I need the best quality in recording, so how do I record calls I make in Skype?? I have a magazine and interview people for articles in the magazine and they all consent to it. But the AVS recorder I have is never reliable and the customer service is horrible!!
So what is the best way to do this??
I have an ASUS K52J Laptop.

On Windows machines, it would be Pamela Business or Pamela Professional (not the other two) or Total Recorder.

You can't do it without specialized software. Skype takes over your sound channels and normal, well behaved software doesn't have a chance.
In both cases you can export the show as split stereo and cut it in Audacity.
