I downloaded ver 1.3.5 and would like to do a timed recording. The clock is seven hours off of my local time. Where can I change that time in the program?

I don't have my copy of 1.3.5 here, but everything usually changes in Preferences. No? Which kind of computer do you have?

While I figure this out, it would make me a lot happier if you had used the words "My computer clock is perfectly set and still Audacity is off."
And also, you know you posted in the Audacity 1.2.x section?

Audacity appears to follow the computer time--and it does it in 24-hour clock. Right now, it's 1528 hrs in New York State.

Audacity 1.3.5 uses the system clock - whatever time your computer thinks it is.

And to adjust your computer's time in Windows use Control Panel > Date and Time

Thank-you for all the responses. My computer is running Vista.
My computer clock right now says 5:01pm (17:01 24hour time) and Audacity says 00h 01m 32s, exactly seven hours ahead of my computer clock.
Not too concerned about clock any more, I just adjusted for the difference and recorded what I wanted.
Next hurdle is VOX recording.
I did not realize I posted in the 1.2.x forum, my apologies.

How very odd
What time zone are you in?
Is your Vista version a specific nationalised version?
Do you have your clock synchronised to internet time? If so, do you know which time server?
Do you have the latest Vista service pack installed? (in particular hotfix 929637)
Do you know how to look in BIOS to see what time is reported there?
