I have read other posts about this topic, but none solve the problem. I am running Audacity on Windows XP and I have downloaded WDW and still do not find the M-Box as an option on preference I/O options. I can hear Audacity through M-Box, but I cannot record. Is there a solution for this? M-Box does not come up as an option in the Windows control panel for recording either.
Thanks for any help.

Audacity 1.2.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.
The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

Re: recording through M-Box
You need to fix that first.jhawk85 wrote:M-Box does not come up as an option in the Windows control panel for recording either.
It sounds like you do not have the correct drivers available.
Do you mean WDM drivers?jhawk85 wrote:I have downloaded WDW
They may be the wrong ones, or not installed correctly.
Until you have the correct Windows drivers installed, Audacity will not be able to communicate with the audio device. You can tell if the correct drivers installed correctly for the M-Box as it will then be available as an option in the Windows control panel for recording.
Sorry I can't help further - I don't have an M-Box.
