stereo recording - need info

Hello,

I am using an audio interface to record guitar and vocals simultaneously.
IN audacity I have selected stereo recording.

Recording is not an issue. It is recording fine.
Problem is when I play back, my vocals is on the right speaker only and guitar in left speaker only.

Is there a way to mix them so that both sound in both the speakers when played back ?

From the Track drop-down menu http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/Track_Drop-Down_Menu select "Split Stereo Track". You will now have two separate tracks, but they're dedicated to Left and Right channels. In the Track drop-down menu in each of the new tracks, select "Mono".

PS: Are you really using Audacity 1.2? Note that the manual page I've linked to shows the 1.3.13 Track drop-down menu, although the one in 1.2 is similar.
