I am a technophobe and can'y work ut how to record a phone conversation. At present I only record my voice; nothing incoming. Can yiou help me with the required setup?

Trying to record Skype with Audacity ranges from difficult to impossible (depending on the hardware and operating system).
There's several specialised programs designed to do the job more efficiently, more effectively and more easily than Audacity can. I'm not aware of any good free programs to do it, but "Pamela" (commercial non-free) receives good reviews and is not expensive (free trial available). Take care if you want to try free programs for recording Skype - there's a lot of bad ones that are stuffed full of adware and other undesirables.
