playing/recording side B with Hype converter

I am recording a cassette tape, using the Hype tape-to-USB converter. I cannot seem to be able to record side B of the tape. No matter how I insert the tape, FF, rewind, flip the tape, and no matter how I set up Audacity, it only seems to play/record side A. I am certain this is a simple 'user error', but I sure can't seem to figure it out! Help!

TIA, Bruce

Are you sure the tape is not the same on both sides? (have you tried playing it on another cassette player?)

Hi, Steve, thanks for the reply. Yes, I'm certain that the other side is different. Each side is labeled differently, and I have played it before, so I'm familiar with the tape. I'm just trying to convert it to a different format, so I don't have to lug around the tape player (as well as backing it up).

OK, I spoke too soon. I checked again, and yes, you are correct. Not sure if both sides are the same (perhaps they are), but both 'parts' play on a single side. For some reason, it seemed as if the recording stopped after the first 'track' ended (or perhaps, I myself stopped the tape, wo realizing the tape had not completed. What I did was FF the tape until it was 3/4 completed, and, lo and behold, there is 'part two'. I suspected that I was somehow creating this problem - in my programmer days, when I ran into a block, I always asked for another pair of eyes. They usually pointed out the obvious, too. Good thing I'm not too proud!!!! Thanks again....

Well at least it was easily resolved.
