this is my first post hope im in the right place,i need to get songs from my mini disc player to my computer and was told to download audacity first any help would be great...ken

Some mini-disk players will allow direct file transfer between mini-disk and computer via a USB cable (like copying files from a USB memory stick only slower). If this feature is provided by your mini-disk player it will be documented in the mini-disk player manual.
If USB file transfer is not available with your mini-disk player, then you will need to "record" the output of the mini-disk player. The process is the same as recording other sources such as cassette players, and is documented here:

i need to get them to my computer so i can put them on i tunes,will i tunes take midi format

none
