How do I Inable meter toolbar - I dont know what I did -But My level meters have gone!
What do i do?.. First i was concerned that my levels were monoural -even though I had correctly set up stereo -but now They be gone! I searched High and Low for text menus -Ive tried everything.. Do I reinstall?

It may be different in Audacity 1.2, but something like View > ToolBars > Meter ToolBar.

Now for the question you almost asked. You're on a Windows Laptop and you connected your sound device (CD Player, VCR, Turntable) up to the Mic-In and launched Audacity. You played the device, but only got one sound channel instead of two.

Did I hit it?
