Hopefully it will, but keep us informed. If it doesn't fix it, or if updated drivers are not available we may be able to configure the sound card correctly through the Windows Control Panel.

Well, I updated the driver and now I can record either through the microphone or the line in - hurray! However, now my external speakers (plugged into the front jack) won't play. Only the back line out jack works. But, I can at least do my work, I just have to plug and unplug external speakers and headphones. Thanks for all the help and ideas, everyone.
