Hi,
I can properly import WMA audio files and I can also export them, but the exported file does not play in media player. Seems like its bit rate is wrong.
If I convert the exported file by Super to:
Bit rate : 32.0 Kbps
Sampling rate : 22.05 KHz
then it plays.
Audacity WMA export Options does not give those bit rate alternatives that Super uses and which seem to work: 32, 48, 56, 64...
Instead it offers: 31,33, 36, 39,42, 47, 52... (the default is 65)
What does this whole jungle mean?
My files are lectures, plain speech, but quite long, so I try to make as small files as possible but which were still publicly usable.
When I export a 1,5 hour recording from Audacity it will create over 40 Mb file (which does not work). When I then encode it with Super to those smallest values it gives, I will get some 20 Mb file which works. A litlle complicated route...
thank you
Eetu

Re: WMA export problem
You've posted in the Audacity 1.2 part of the forum, but Audacity 1.2 does not support WMA.
