I tried recording and playback, but my playbacks have no sound. I'm thinking I need to configure the correct input recording device.
I'm tring to configure input device by doing the following:
Edit> Preferences > Audio I/O
Under Recording, I'm choosing Microphone USB Audio CODEC. I am choosing this option because I've bought one of those USB connected cassete devices that can convert my old cassette tapes to MP3.
However, I'm getting this same error message again and again:
Can't set Value of 'HKCUSoftwareAudacityAudacityGUIEnvdBRange' (error 2: the system cannot find the file specified.)
I keep getting the above error message. When I try to install the LAME MP3 file i.e. the one called lame_enc.dll, I get the same error message again.
Can someone please help?
error message: Can't set Value of 'HKCU\Software\Audacity\.
