Hi all,
I´ve been trying this for a while now, but I´m not able to get it working:
I want to make a background soundtrack for a model railroad. I´ve made a general soundtrack with village and nature sounds, but I want to add some special "events" such as the sound of a passing train, a whistle of a train conductor etc.
Preferably I would like these events to be started separately of the "main" soundtrack, and trigger them with a keystroke, let´s say one of the F-keys.
Is this possible in Audacity?
Thanks for helping!

Audacity won't do that.
Perhaps "MultiPlay" would fit your needs better: http://www.audiovisualdevices.com.au/so ... multiplay/

Hi Steve,
Thanks for the reply! It seems MultiPlay is the right choice for me, but not after creating the most amazing soundtrack with Audacity. Keep up the great work!!
