Hello all,
A query of seemingly of the utmost simplicity, yet still quite beyond me:
When cutting/copying and pasting regardless of where I place the cursor the audio is always pasted in at the beginning of the track. Canyone offer any help?
Thanks.

Re: Paste problems
Audacity 1.2 is no longer support, patched, corrected or updated and hasn't been for a long time. Download and install Audacity 1.3.12 from here...
http://audacityteam.org/download/
... and use that. You can install both versions safely, but you may only use one at a time. Audacity 1.3 Projects will not open in 1.2.
If you use Lame or FFMpeg, you need to get fresh versions from that same web site. Do Not use old software.

Re: Paste problems
Audacity does not support multiple clips in the same track (no gaps between audio segment). That functionality is only available in Audacity 1.3Thomas wrote:Hello all,
