audacity cannot find lame files

i have just downloaded audacity and the lame files at the same time but when i try and export a mp3 file i am asked if i want to open the lame files but audacity cannot find them am i doing anything wrong if so can someone please tell me how to import the lame files into audacity, not that computer savvy and get confused easily
